Victoria Day Happy Hour

Our friends and family up North get the day off, so heck, let's pretend to take the day off too and enjoy another Happy Hour. Join us in celebrating Queen Victoria's birthday, and the official start of "summer" back home (well, if you can call 10 degrees and overcast the start of "summer") at the Victoria Day Happy Hour, this coming Monday, May 19th.

Let's bring this northern tradition to the woods of Texas!! It's Queen Victoria's birthday! Let's help her celebrate with a C.I.A. Picnic and Camping Weekend! We're heading to Pace Bend Park for some primative camping (so yah, no hairdryers or microwaves, ok?). If you can't or don't want to stay the evening, just come on down and help us eat some birthday cake.

 

North By Northeast at SXSW
March 14 and 15, 2003

North by Northeast, Canada's top music festival and industry conference is making plans to head south once again to the sunny streets of Austin, Texas to spread the good Canadian musical word at the 17th annual South By Southwest Music and Media Conference, being held March 12-16, 2003. Once again the NXNE crew is bringing along some of the hottest talent the Great White North has to offer for both annual shindigs - the NXNE BBQ and the all-Canadian music showcase.

 

2003 Kick-off Happy Hour: Hockey Night in Lavaca

Celebrate a new year of CIA events and take in a good line-up of NHL action. We're holding this event in conjunction with Lavaca's regular Tuesday night promotion "Hockey Night in Lavaca", featuring Ice Bats appearances and the evening's NHL action. (Oilers at Penguins, Canucks at Red Wings, Hurricanes at Leafs, Panthers at Habs, Blue Jackets at Jets).
